This quest is available once you defeat the Ancient Dragon on Normal difficulty and turn in any quest, or finish the Hermit quest chain in the Lost Woods for the second time. Within the game menu, this quest is followed by Hunt for the Forbidden Text.
Description[]
A man who looks irresponsible with money whispered in your ear a secret request. A brigand crew about 40 strong is said to have amassed a great deal of treasure in a hidden cave in Ghost Ship Cove. A large stone that seals the cave is said to open only with a magical password, which the man says is "Open The Sesame".
The man claimed that stealing the money wasn't a crime, because it's filthy brigand money. He also stated that the treasure was all his, and that you don't get to lay a finger on it.

You used the password to remove the stone barring the passage.
Strategy[]
At Ghost Ship Cove path A, in the seventh continuous screen (fifth of path A) there is a wall with an O rune around the middle of the area. Use the blue T rune and the green S rune to get the combination O-T-S (Open The Sesame) and an entrance will open, completing the mission.
