This quest is available once you defeat the Ancient Dragon on Normal difficulty and turn in any quest, or finish the Hermit quest chain in the Lost Woods for the second time. Within the game menu, this quest is preceded by Crush Hydeland's Enemies.
Description[]
A young knight, the eldest son from a long line of knights, has run away from home, and his father is desperately trying to find him.
The rumor surrounding this knight is that he was agonizing over his dead girlfriend when he was charmed by a harpy's magic. The harpy is residing in the back of the Ancient Temple, the same spot where the knight was last seen.
The requester has asked to keep this discreet so as not to heap even more shame upon the family name. You must go alone.

Strategy[]
You must do this quest alone without the help of other players or NPCs. At Dragon's Haven Inn, change your party join settings to "Join Off". Alternatively, switch off NPC join settings in Game Options 2 and remain offline. The Harpy is the easiest boss. Try to attack her from behind to avoid being surprised by her attacks. You can also try to tackle this quest along with Harpy Adoption to complete both quests.
